Syndicate Bank Entrepreneurship Research and Training Centre at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (SBERTC–IITK) provides value in all entrepreneurship areas through a diverse array of activities, thus creating a world-class center for entrepreneurship education, research and training. SBERTC aims to bring together the existing talent pool and expertise within the DoMS department and utilize the facilities of SIIC to prepare the ground for conducting cutting edge research, teaching, and training in entrepreneurship.

TiE Young Entrepreneurs
TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) programme is jointly conducted by SBERTC, IIT Kanpur and TiE, UP for over eight years now. The event aims at cultivating and nurturing the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation at the school level. Within this programme, fifteen sessions on Entrepreneurship, Ideation, Opportunity recognition, Finance, Marketing, Communication & presentation, business game and Business model / Business law were organised on nine days. Four separate sessions on mentoring were taken up on four other Sundays.
Megabucks
To promote an entrepreneurial ethos among today’s generation, SBERTC organizes MEGABUCKS, a unique program that offers hands-on courses designed to educate, groom and nurture MBA and BBA students as future entrepreneurs. Conducted over a span of four months, MEGABUCKS is geared towards fostering innovation, leadership skills, creativity and confidence to lead in a competitive global environment.The program covers course modules on Entrepreneurship, Idea generation, opportunity recognition, Marketing, Market Research.
Workshops
We provide state of the art training programs both at elementary and advanced level for students & faculties and existing & potential entrepreneurs. Beneficiaries include school going children and also school teachers. These are one time events that may provide opportunity to the host institutions to further leverage the knowledge base of SBERTC to create a whole entrepreneurial ecosystem at their institution. These workshops act as awareness cum stimulation to ignite and inspire the potential entrepreneurs and sail through the challenges of their entrepreneurial journey.
